A design charrette for the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale to try and solve the problem of their underused sculpture garden. One of the major problems that arose was the view to and from the sculpture garden. The view looking out towards the river and park was blocked by palm trees and why not give a sneak peak into the Museum over the large wall. So the solution added periscopes that look up to the garden and down past the palm trees. Also the addition of a figurative orange carpet that leads you from across the park up to the sculpture garden to add interest and a shaded seating area for the garden.
